The Start of The Mission caused quite a concern- Beach Channel decided to forfeit the game.
 
Sept. 24 Sat 1pm Andrew Jackson Wagner W 36-6
The Falcons finally got to take their vengeance out on the field by thrashing Jackson 36-6. Mike Taranto threw TD pass to Ken Sparry (44 yds) and Frank Menechino (7 yds). Scooter Abbott ran for 86 yds and 2 TDs while Glenn Pedro added a 30 yd TD run.
 
Oct. 1 Sat 1pm Poly Prep Poly Prep W 24-0
The Falcon Defense dominated the day allowing Poly Prep to only muster 19 total yds (10 rushing, 9 passing) and 1 first down. Glenn Pedro ran for 96 yds and 1 TD to pace the offense while Mike Taranto found Frank Menechino for a 16 yd TD pass. Adam Wisseman intercepted a pass and ran it back 33 yds for the score.
 
Oct. 8 Sat 1pm Kennedy Wagner W 22-0
Glenn Pedro ran for 159 yds and 1 TD and Scooter Abbott added a 3 yd TD run. Ken Sparry caught a 17 yd TD strike from Mike Taranto for the other score. Sparry also had a great defensively recording 2 sacks. Frank Menechino, Angelo DeFillipis and Jay Sullivan all recorded picks and helped preserve the 2nd straight shut out. Chris Dai had a fumble recovery as well.
 
Oct. 15 Sat 1pm Tottenville Tottenville W 40-0
The Falcons went to Tottenville with a bit of a chip on their shoulder and dominated both sides of the ball for the 5th straight win this season and third straight shut out. Mike Taranto was 12-16 for 245 yds, 3 TDs through the air and ran for another score. Taranto hooked up with Frank Menechino twice for scores of 33 yds and 27 yds, while also hitting Scooter Abbott for a 12 yd TD reception. Glenn Pedro ran for 100 yds and 2 TDs.
 
Oct. 22 Sat 1:30 pm New Dorp New Dorp W 28-0
Another game, another shutout. Mike Taranto hooked up with Ken Sparry on a 73 yd TD play. Steve Guzzi recovered a fumble on the ensuing kickoff and Taranto hit Sparry again on the next play for a 19 yd TD. Glenn Pedro finished the day with 117 yds and TD runs of 20 yds and 52 yds.
 
Oct. 29 Sat 1pm Curtis Wagner W 34-14
Mike Taranto threw 4 TDs to lead the Falcons to another Island victory. Taranto tossed TD passes to Jay Sullivan (7 yds), Glenn Pedro (29 yds) and connected with Frank Menechino twice for scores (4 yds, 5 yds). Pedro also ran the ball 8 times for 126 yds, including an 86 yd TD jaunt.
 
Nov. 6 Sun 1pm Port Richmond Wagner W 22-6
First part of The Mission complete... 4th straight Island Championship! Glenn Pedro ran for 187 yds and 2 TDs(68 yds and 4 yds) to pace the offense. Scooter Abbott added a 7 yd TD run. Steven Guzzi had a big intereception that led a defense that included stellar play from Adam Wisseman, Rob Lane and Devon Simmons- all who recorded key sacks. Ken Sparry, David Reali and Angelo DeFilippis also had great defensive games.
 
Nov. 12 Sat 1pm Lehman Clinton W 22-17
The Falcons finish the regular season undefeated with a strong running game. Glenn Pedro ran for 107 yds and Scooter Abbot ran for 79 yds and 2 TDs as the Falcons totalled 204 yds with key blocking from the strong front line of Jason Mediate, Jamie Valinotti, Rich Marchetti, Felix Vigiant and Anthony Curran. Pedro had a 70 yd kickoff return for a TD to spark the Falcons in the 2nd half.
 
Playoff Quarter Final
Nov. 20 Sun 1pm South Shore Wagner W 22-0

The Falcons opened up the playoffs as the #1 seed in NYC. The Defense got back to form by throwing another shutout allowing only 52 yds of total offense, 30 of which came within the game's closing minutes. Glenn Pedro started things off with a 77 yd kickoff return for a TD to open up the game. Mike Taranto tossed TD passes of 9 yds to Jay Sullivan and 34 yds to Frank Menechino. Rob Lane and Chris Dai tackled the punter in the endzone for a safety.

 
Playoff Semi Final
Nov. 26 Sat 1pm August Martin Wagner W 36-20
Scooter Abbott stepped up big to help the Falcons advance to City Championship. Abbott carried just 9 times, but amassed 157 yds and scored 3 times on runs of 87 yds and 19 yds and also caught an 8 yd toss from Mike Taranto for another score. Glenn Pedro added a 3 yd TD run and Frank Menechino finished with 4 catches for 62 yds. Chris (Int) and David Reali had great games defensively, as did Adam Wisseman (INT, fumble recovery).
 
City Championship
Dec. 4 Sun 1pm Bayside Midwood W 24-18
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!!! Scooter Abbott, Glenn Pedro and Jay Sullivan lead the Falcons to their 2nd City Championship in 3 years. Abbott ran for 124 yds, Pedro ran for 112 yds and a TD and Sullivan caught a 28 yd TD pass from Mike Taranto and returned an interception 32 yds for another TD. It was Taranto's bootleg 6 yd TD run behind the lead block of Jamie Valinotti in the 3rd quarter to put the Falcons up 2 TDs and on to another title. Sullivan finished with 2 picks and Frank Menechino added a pick as well. The Falcons finished ranked #1 in NYC and #5 in NY State.
